Looking at it differently

How many times a day do you drive past one of these power poles. Most likely, many times every day. The question I ask myself is how can I take an object and make it look differently. How will light, shadows, clouds or any other factor make this object look different.

This image was actually taken after dark (13 second exposure) and the only light was coming from overhead lights in a parking lot behind and right of the camera.

Here is another image of an object that everyone passes over everyday.

Sunrise Above the Clouds

There are times when mother nature shows her real beauty. I was treated to two spectacular sites during this sunrise shot, clear skies and low lying clouds. What is amazing that I was no more than two miles from my home to witness this beauty.
